Post on Oldham forum suggests Nuttal is being recalled.

I wonder whether he's the mover behind this or whether it's Oldham?
(if it's true of course)

The Oldham fan I know, plus the group on the tram after the game a few weeks ago, won't be happy.

I wouldn't have thought there would be a recall clause (unless it's unilateral on their side but we couldn't send him back) due to the certainty in budget forecasting, knowing it's (x) off the books for the full year.

Shame if so, he started slowly and 'all action' just isn't his game - but we saw in pre-season that if we sling a few crosses into the box, he's the most dangerous option that we've got to do the job of getting on the end of it.

He'll continue to get sharper too I reckon.

The main thing Twitter has taught me over the last few years is that Oldham fans have the collective football knowledge of Neil Young after he's been hit on the head.

I'd trust nothing coming out of them, they probably saw him do one decent run for us and he's the solution to their problems. Spent the past 2/3 years destroying Mike Fondop for not being good enough yet he's their top scorer this season. They still mostly think Lundstram is a bust despite him moving around roles in that midfield like it's a game of positional hot potato.

Not that I'd be too bothered either way tbh, he can stay and be our plan B or he can go and we can focus on plan A and having two top strikers to execute.
