Dreadful mid week fixture.

Assuming Wilson has a knock.

Same starting 11 but Humbles did impress

Barnet 2-2 Alty

I'd be very happy with a point down there seeing as they're played 3 won 3 at home with a goal difference of 10 scored and only one conceded.
Come on you Supers!

Given everything was going to plan from 46 minutes onwards on Saturday - and the fact we can now make five subs - it was nice to see Parky make uncharacteristically early changes!

As a result, I don't think the manager will be tempted to switch personnel around too much from the start - particularly given lots of players (such as Newby and Linney) have rotated around a bit already.

It's probably not the game to bring the likes of Humbles and Reddin in from the start, although I'm sure they're more than ready if called upon.

The only thing he might be contemplating is whether to match up their 4231 or try something different - although I know wing backs are contentious on here...

If fit, then I would bring Wilson into the starting 11.

For either Osborne or Crawford, not sacrificing the 10 position.

I suspect it's a little bit longer than one game if we've brought in a loanee, but I agree with you.

Really poor timing on that one.

Capable of getting something against Barnet tomorrow. Not the nicest place to have to go on a Tues evening. I would start with Humbles tomorrow we will need to be strong in midfield.

We're very likely to be aggressively high-pressed through the middle of the pitch.

There's definitely an argument to go with safety in numbers at the back with three instead of two, get the ball wide quickly as we know 4231's can be quite narrow, and it might help to suppress the likes of Zak Brunt as he'll have to keep one eye on his defensive duties.

We have two ready-made wing backs with a goal each to their name already this season.

A lone striker might prove a frustrating existence, so dropping Bickerstaff to the bench and letting Regan and Justin run at them might prove to be useful.

Just a thought, as much as I do sign up to the 'don't change a winning team' thing.

Happy with the midfield tonight Golden, Crawford and Humbles. Ossy on the bench. We don?t want him booked early doors then has to go easy. Happy with tonight?s line up

Are we expecting Golden to go into midfield?

He might be wing back.

That's what I thought actually. With Banks as the third centre back.

We are truly awful at attacking and defending set pieces. That goal came from our free kick at the other end, no idea what Jones decided to change the free kick at the last min.

Tremendous shift from the boys but the goal had been coming for ages, and we couldn't hold out.

Frustrating as it is to concede two injury time goals, it's a couple of points in the grand scheme of things and our season won't be defined by away trips to two of the bookies' favourites for promotion.

Our set pieces really need some work - we're so wasteful with them it's bloody infuriating.

Dust off and go again Saturday.

Do we ever practice defending long throws. It's a real weakness and leads to us conceding so many important goals.
Sounded like a good performance though, but what a heartbreaker.

The Osborne sub was a waste, he looked lost out there.

Both Jones?s were poor tonight.

Need to learn how to see games out, we concede so many goals from set pieces / throws into the box.
