Yep, Kharel Reddin. Released by Stoke.

A bit raw, but has considerable promise - one for Parky to sort out? For anyone present, am I the only one who really enjoyed Max Haygarth's little cameo? That's our new number 10.

Once Haygarth gets used to the league he will be brilliant for us. CCC replacement right there.

No Linney last night though??

Hopefully Linney just wasn't available for whatever reason, he definitely starts over Nuttall - although I can see what Nuttall gives us that we haven't had.

I agree on Reddin I think he could be a shrewd pickup - I didn't realise he's a former FA Youth Cup winner with Aston Villa so he has considerable pedigree.

Says he can play right wing or wing back, might be looking at things too simplistically but it might be a case of taking one of either him or Justin Donawa, who we haven't really seen yet - I suppose it would then come down to who the management feel has the best ceiling of potential.

I didn't really see too much of the other Stoke lad, Kershaw - although I know he'd had a good write-up in the other games.

The only one I thought struggled a bit was Owen German, sadly - made one or two decisions not to press the ball when he should have done, and was uncomfortable on the ball once or twice too - although he did settle down into the game a bit more. I'm guessing the plan might be for another loan spell for the first few months.

Actually the triallist left back (Sotona I assume) looked a bit rough too - one pretty rash tackle but I think he'd done well previously too?

I thought Joel Bailey defended well, Tylor Golden was fairly quiet but showed his quality with a few nice touch and goes, and I can see what people mean about Lucas Weaver - very unorthodox and pacy, he's going to cause defenders some real issues I think.

I believe Regan Linney picked up a knock late on at Warrington on Saturday. Hopefully it's minor. Slightly concerning to see Justin Amaluzor come straight off after scoring too. I thought we were very fortunate to be level at half time, but in the end we deserved the draw. Tylor Golden will probably get picked up by an EFL club, but I thought Kharel Reddin looked well worth trying to get on board. I was quite impressed by Max Haygarth too.

Yes. I've got a sneaky feeling Parky's mulling over whether Reddin has had sufficient Men's football in his locker to deal with the rough and tumble of the National League. If he believes he can do it, he could well be retained at the expense of Donawa who seemed to be regularly on the verge of injuries last year - and is a few years older.
Reddin may jump at the chance of a gig with us feeling he'll be well coached and firmly in the shop window.

Very happy with yesterday?s performance. Knocking the ball about well and seen something in Nuttall with a few nice touches here and there. Think he could do well against many defenders in this league and lay it off to any of our transitional players. It?s going to be shooting practice all year and another top 4 finish.

Nuttall is a bit of a menace for opposition centre backs tbh and is an enormous upgrade on Dior. I loved the way he was also tracking back yesterday too.

Liked Nuttall, he draws fouls from opposing players, had a couple of decent chances and a good ariel option for us in the box. Gives us another option for box work from set pieces. We don't score that many goals from corners and free kicks, and he would unsettle defences. Took a bit of stick from the Salford players but just dusted himself down and carried on. Reminded me of Jaws from James Bond, carried on unruffled!

Really liked the substitute number 20, Reddin. Would love Phil to give him a chance as I think he would become an asset. In a short space of time he became a menace to Salford's defenders. Saw him beating them along the touchline which he had no rights to be able to get through, but he did. One that Phil can develop.

Am I imagining it or did the playing surface look better than we can ever recall?

I agree, the pitch looked superb, lets hope the drainage is as improved.
