Lancaster Match Thread

I would imagine we will start to see more of the 1st teamers tomorrow sprinkled with some Trialists.

Hopefully not as wet as last year with the deluge at the end.

Just a quick one to which I probably know the answer to... Do we get any idea as to who the trialists are or only those we offer terms to?

I was all geared up to go by train, and enjoy a few beers afterwards. I only got as far as Altrincham Interchange. The bloody trams are down. It's Radio Alty this afternoon now.

It was a really good game and Lancaster were mega competitive (as they were last year).
Generally, it was a good workout after time off.
Of the new players, Nuttall is a clear menace and took his goal well.
Crawford looked very very impressive and fit into Parky's passing style like a hand to a glove.
Of the trialists, the left footed left back and the centre back (number 16) look the most likely to be given more game time.
A hope this becomes a regular preseason fixture as Lancaster are a decent opposition and the city is a nice place.

Agree a good workout. Quite a few people in new shirts as well.

Weaver showed pace, Nuttall looked promising, good header. Thought the RW young trialist did well second half as he was pretty lightweight. Enjoyed the game

Afernee has been involved with the club for a while right? Development squad grad or something to that effect. He got a glowing review on RR as well.

As did the Lancaster number 8 that forced a save from inside the centre circle. Anyone know who he was?
