...also gets a League One move, joining newly-promoted Crawley Town.

Did NOT have that one on my bingo card, I must admit!

Never really liked that club actually.
Aren't they now owned by a semi-spurious crypto currency outfit or have I got that wrong? (not an unusual occurrence!) 😉

You are correct, but I am not sure about the "semi" in your description, though they do seem to have suddenly had some success after a bad start.
I used to live in Sussex and also agree there are many nicer clubs we have played or might play there than Crawley Town.

Name a time in Crawleys history where their owners haven't been dodgy.

I hate them because Steve Evans paid the whole team with brown envelopes after leaving Boston due to him paying players with... brown envelopes of cash.

On Mullarky, he's a capable footballer but a sh*thouse of a person. I don't care if a football career is short he abandoned ship and feigned injury when we were already being gutted of players. He was also supposedly captain at the time.

I think we need to calm down on the Toby Mullarkey stuff.

He signed a contract extension when he could have left for free the previous summer (and had been rumoured to), thus banking us a fee when he did eventually move on. What happened around the time of his departure is all hearsay and gossip.
