No chance I don't think. Similarly low level of chance it's Croasdale. But I'm gonna keep praying until it's announced he's signed for Bradford or someone.

He's been busy getting married this past weekend so I could understand why he's not signed for anyone yet. or at least it hasn't been announced yet. If we don't see anything for another 2/3 weeks I'm gonna believe it's him more evry day.

additionally, it's great to hear Rob re-enforce my point that we're getting a new calibre of player knocking on the door this close season.

We're a massive prospect for so many players now.

Rumour mill suggests the out of contract Tom Crawford from Hartlepool. 24 years old, from Chester & has a bagful of NL experience with Pools. Age, geography & profile makes a lot of sense.

Is Tom Crawford any better than what we already have?

Replacement for Joey Jones I imagine, so will need to fight for a place.

Seems like more of a Mitch Hancox style signing, seems well-regarded in terms of his workrate without pulling up too many trees on a technical level.

At 24, the management will feel confident they can improve him within our setup - although his recent injury record might be a cause for concern.

Certainly much more promising to be signing players with solid periods of tenure with individual clubs, rather than hopping around from one season to another.

Tom has been described as a combative(12bookings last season) , box to box but somewhat lacking in pace midfielder. Well liked by 'pools' fans and a surprise to many that new boss Darren Saril has let him go. Had enough games at NL and LG2 to be considered a solid addition imo.
