Back on the subject of right backs, and Tylor Golden has announced he's moving on from Halifax - as is Jamie Stott.

Wouldn't be surprised if both of them were Oldham-bound.

Seems about right, Oldham need to be picking up good NL players rather than middling L1 players who think this is a park league. I expect them to make moves for most of the same players as us, I'd love to be the fly on the wall when a player is weighing us up vs them.

Sticking on the subject of right backs...

Just noticed that Watford released a 20-year old right back called Scott Holding, who they poached from Stockport two years ago.

Finished the season on loan at Dover, where he apparently did really well.

Could be a shrewd pickup.

I'd rather have an RB that know's where to be positioned and how not to get exploited on the outside. JD ain't an RB, RWB at a push. He's also more injury prone than Banks so hardly to be considered reliable backup.

As I said above, we're probably best looking at a full back who can play on either flank.

Be interesting to see who the trialists are as I think we've seen all the other signings we're going to make.

It does concern me that we're now very lopsided on the wings - with Crankshaw and Donawa being traditional right footed right wingers, and Justin Amaluzor preferring to play on that side too. This probably played a part in releasing Mooney and wanting to take a look at Donawa first.
