Dorking Match Thread
« on: March 04, 2024, 10:42:28 AM »

Huge game, won't be easy, but the rot needs to stop. Need a gutsy performance and ideally a win.

Whatever team is picked, hope Ethan is back, we need to get behind them.

Come on Alty..

Needs to be as near as possible to our first eleven - including Ethan - a big performance, big crowd cheering us on, and three points!

I think that much depends on Ethan Ross being back. Our squad is fragile.

I'd imagine Dorking will have most of the ball which might play into our hands a little bit as we're now much more a counter attacking side. Outcome depends on the old cliches of how we defend under pressure and if we can take the chances we get as I'm confident they'll come.

Dorking have a few defenders who are getting on a bit. Maybe it could find them out on a proper pitch which will be soft (in racing terms) and only a few days since there last game.. having said that, our lads need to up their game also.

His old man, posted a picture on Twitter of a car losing its wheel, with the caption "The wheels are falling off" just after his son had been named on the bench in the game we lost.

After the sh*te I would be fining him his wages and sending him down to the donkey field to train with the under 9's. Our social media policy must surely include close family & "representatives".

Definitely an instance of a Byrne being a talking head who had begun to stop making sense.

TBF after the last few games we're all a bit tense and nervous and we can't relax

6 of the 8 teams above us play each other so somethings gotta give . Now's the time to start a good run and get back challenging again . Nothing less than a win will do imo , come on lads you can do this.
