Another month would be a bit odd because I don’t think you can extend more than twice so he’d then have to go back in Feb. Unless new management are happy to leave him here while they asses what they’ve got then get him back in Feb with a view to forming a view on potential new contract for him in the summer over the next few months?

I wouldn’t fancy that if I was him though. Potentially looking a for a new club after not playing much at the back end of the season isnt easy
I also thought it was odd, I'd expect it was a perm move with an early release a la eddy jones. We could also extend the loan to allow for further negotiations since we can buy outside of January.

Either way we've heard all sorts and I know we just all hope it's sorted before Thursday.

I heard on the nltv stream that he had signed for another month...

If that's as good as the match streaming they are responsible for, I shouldn't put a great deal of faith in it.

As one of the commentators on the NLTV stream on Saturday don’t believe everything you hear !

I think I may be responsible for that misunderstanding. I was speculating when his loan spell was due to end and may have mistakenly mentioned the end of February.

My apologies for any confusion caused.

Just seen PPs post match interview.  Not sure why the interviewer  said that we are conceding goals and was pleased we didn’t concede today.. our goals against tally is one of the best in the league this campaign.

A great team performance and a statement of intent! Thought it was one of the most professional displays of the season in terms of staying calm, sticking to a good shape and keeping the ball to see it through. Felt that CCC didn’t really get into the game and Justin still doesn’t seem 100% himself. Good to see our new signing start with a goal and shout outs to Banks, Jones, Cooper and Baines who were all magnificent.

These professional performances we've seen recently are a definite step up from away performances in the past. We are becoming difficult to beat with a settled defensive unit as well as the forwards.
To be hyper critical I would say we need to be better finishers and sometimes all our good work goes to waste because we can't stick the ball in the net. Still, three winnable home games coming up.....
