2nd best for most of the game. Dior and Mooney were dreadful, Kosylo and Wilson not much better, Roscoe and Dononwa ok. Byrne made a decent save.

Let's just say the manager won't be having sleepless nights about his team selection at the weekend.

I think the most damning indictment I can give is that they calmly dispatched the two chances they had when clear on goal... whereas I doubt Dior Angus would have been able to do the same.

356. Hard to estimate the away support as everyone was spread out, but 40-50 maybe.

Beyond Wilson, Mooney and Donowa, do we think any will still be around come August

Crowd wise, I saw quite a few Alty supporters, as others say, well spread out. My estimate would be 75-100.

On the game, they were clinical we were not. We were makeshift and they were better drilled. Plastic pitch was dry and woeful. On the aAlty 1st team fringers, none stood out. Dan was woeful, Dior poor and fluffed a good chance to eaqualise. Donowa should have scored also, but hit the post. Disappointed with Kossie. Ollie made one very good save, goals he had little chance with a poor back four in front. Roscoe was ok along with Wilson.

Parky was there sat in stand, not sure wat he would have made of it or expected.

I think Parky would have been looking for players who were hungry to impress and were intent on pushing their claims.
Like as been said above though he may have just had his views confirmed and, if any of the last starting eleven were watching, they wouldn't exactly be quaking in their boots.

Another thing I'll add is that I'm not convinced that Justin Donawa is capable of playing as full back in a flat four.

When I saw he was on the team sheet I'd expected him to start on the left of the attack, with Dan Mooney on the right.

Would like to see Justin Donawa start appearing as sub soon, but the current playing squad is so strong that he seems to be having difficulty getting back in. That's a shame because when he has played, he's done pretty well for us. Still feel he deserves to be with us next season, but not sure how long before he decides to move on. However I do think there may still be goals in him.

I would replace Angus with Donawa in the match day squad.
If Linney needs pulling, for whatever reason, in a game then Amulazor or CCC could fill the spot.
Sorry for sounding harsh but I feel Angus is a waste of a sub, hasn’t impacted a game, since Chesterfield at home.

In respect of our play-off prospects, my abiding misgivings remain that they could be derailed by the reduction in quality in relation to our back-up players, in the event of us incurring any injuries and suspensions.

Here are all the thrills and spills from last night's match:

Agree with all re. Justin Donowa. I just can't understand why he is so out of favour.

Yes. That's my big concern as well. Especially as for the majority of the ten or so weeks remaining we'll be playing Tuesday and Saturday. 🤞
