Wages and what we are up against.
« on: August 03, 2007, 11:18:55 AM »

I have it on very good authority (don't you just love that phrase) that Bromley who have just been promoted to the Conference South are paying their striker, Danny Hockton £750 per week.

He also gets a £50 goal bonus, he netted 40 odd for Margate last season!

I used to think the Conference North was harder than the Conference South to get out of, now I'm not so sure if that is the sort of cash that is floating around  ::)

750 a week and a 50 quid goal bonus at Bromley me thinks it will all end in tears what about the guys  who lay on the chances hope mr Hockton is no slouch when it comes to getting up to the bar
