Think he will start Cooper over Roscoe because he likes right and left foot CB’s. I have been impressed with Roscoe recently, wins a lot of headers. I personally would have him and Baines on Tuesday.

I think it's the sort of game that he'll deploy a back three:

As you've mentioned, Roscoe has earned his spot with his aerial strength and the wing backs can give us extra protection when we're pegged back.

On the counter, we need our most direct forwards on the pitch and so I think I'd keep Alex Newby on the bench to begin with, and see how we get on.

Temperature has been above freezing since late morning and they haven't had the snow we've had in the north west - so the pitch should be OK, will be baltic though.

Hopefully the weather will act as a bit of a leveller.
