I went on the Grimsby forum when it looked like they miggt be interested in PP. Mullarkey wasn't rated very highly by their fans. Maybe PP knew how to get the best from him.

I'm surprised by that; they were singing Toby's praises at the start of the season (and was included in conversation for best league XI teams early on too).

With regard to Ryan Colclough, I wouldn't say he's out of favour at all - they have a big squad and just rotate around a bit, it's probably worse for their strikers.

They have two competent NL standard  players for every position.......So I am told....currently on holiday with three CFC season ticket holders..

They also rave about the potential of  Berry....hope we got a good fee off Maccfor him

I would think that Ryan is pretty satisfied at Chesterfield, and realises that his time as being picked ahead of others will soon return.

Too good a player not to be selected in the starting lineup for any length of time.

Talking of squads something came up on my news feed to say the Wrexham owners have lost $20m over the last two years. That's going some for a non-league outfit.

They'll get more than that back from Disney won't they?

My thoughts exactly - definitely only tells part of the story. I'm sure they're doing rather well out of it.
