Superb first 45mins, dog sh*te next 40mins, superb last 10mins.

Donowa and Amaluzor looked brilliant, the sheer pace of them is terrifying.

Newby a great addition and fitted in perfectly.

Rosss' penalty saved killed them

Great afternoon

Great result, superb first half. Started the second half in 2nd gear and invited them on to us. Losing Justin and Ozzy affected us. Once they missed the pen I felt more confident.

Dior wasn’t at his best today, he was a bit Teflon, nothing sticks to him. He also missed a superb chance 2nd half.

Newby was good. Ethan is a very good keeper. Not sure about Banks.

I would give Gez Sithole an outing on Tues instead of Dior.

My MoM would have been Isaac..

Super 3 pts and good for the goal difference

Well done lads.

Yeah, not bad that. I'll have whatever Louis Donowa is on - the poor lad must be absolutely knackered after the mileage he put in today!

Justin. He was superb.

Refreshing to see such an attacking team and it payed off. Keep that back 5 for a bit now and make James Jones earn his place back. Donowa and Amaluzor linked very well. Nobody had a bad game and we finally put a team to the sword.

We should have attacked York, Fylde, Hartlepool and Dagenham like that. Go to Maidenhead on Tuesday and get attacking them from minute 1.

So happy with a great attacking performance

Hopefully Parky continues with Donowa at RB.
I said at the start of the season, having both Justin's on the same side would be frighting for teams.
Their pace would cause any team problems.
He also defended very well.

Just got back after several delayed trains to top off the demolition.

Fair play you lot were the first team to take their chances against us. Your number 10 is the best player I've seen us face this season reminded me of a non league Rooney in terms of style.

Despite the result had a cracking day out, great pubs very friendly locals.

All the best for the season, hope we stay up and can come again next year 👍

Can't find any newspaper shops which stock the NLP down here. Will have to hope the two they usually have in Saughall Coop are still there. They should be as Chester lost. 😉

No need to say much.  I am ecstatic it has to be said.  Maidenhead fans need new Kecks. The breakthrough result that I have been hoping for.  A gateway to a wonderful season.  Stay Positive.  Come on the Alty.  Bring it on!

A great result and great afternoon, superb from Parky, Sorvs and the lads! Biggest win at this level for 30 years I believe?

All the forwards did well, CCC looks back on form and it looks like a good bit of business to get Alex Newby in on loan for a few months.
It was an open game and the difference was probably our forwards, Ebbsfleet dominated the second half too much, couldn't score and we then scored 2 more at the end.

Hope Elliot Osbourne is OK as he's been on good form in midfield.

I contend that this on its own lays down real optimism for the rest of the season and I think is a credible indicator for rivals new and old to be afraid... be very afraid!!!

You and me both mate, although it's clear we'd all started to get so conditioned by Parky's handbrake so far this season that most of us defaulted to Banks at right back in our suggested XI's, and not Donawa. I'm sure most of us were delighted at 2pm when it was clear we were going for it.

I know it's been suggested that Justin Amaluzor play on the left but I think that's why he needs to continue on the right, as defenders won't know whether to cover the cut inside or the overlap.

Alex Newby could potentially solve a few different issues - firstly with what he brings himself, but also the fact we don't have to consider Donawa in the forward positions - even more so once Kossy is back - and then lastly it was his brother's arrival that spurred Cricky's spectacular upturn in form last season. Given their (genetic!) similarities he could well do the same.

Parky was completely right to experiment with systems once it was clear we were practically safe last season - but the crucial part of an experiment is to conclude if something DOESN'T work, and not to persist until it does - especially now we're well into the next season.

We need to:
- return to a back four (if we're really greedy, find a top class right footed CB);
- return to attacking full backs that has served Parky sides so well;
- start the same team every week (and rest players when they're actually tired);
- stop players getting ao tired in the first place by using subs earlier.

As Shankley once said, football is a simple game overcomplicated by idiots...

If it's any consolation, judging by your fans' comments on Twitter it sounds like you're going through the same stuff as us - especially tinkering with defensive systems.

Yesterday was the first time the manager stopped messing about and named the most positive team selection he could go with - and it just happened to be you guys on the end of it.

Home form is a big thing for promoted teams in this league, so as long as you can turn your place into a fortress and get the odd point on the road you'll be OK.

See you later this season.
