We should pester Trafford Council to name this new road in honour of an Altrincham FC legend.

So, how about:

Jackie Swindells Close;

Clive Freeman Drive;

Ian Tunnacliffe Towers;

Barry Howard Avenue;

Ged Kielty Square;

Andy Scott Gardens;

Dennis Birch Crescent?

Any other nominations?

I agree, Justin Bowler is one of the best reserve bench warmers we have had for many a year ;)

Surely a car park should be used for parking cars. If the club want to attract bigger attendances they have to provide these basic facilities. There is more than enough building work going on all over the country. When will politicians realise we are overcrowded? You can't just keep building. The answer is to reduce the population. Start deporting the immigrants and give the English priority in our own country. Cue the leftie abuse.

He might have to get his finger out to achieve the required legendary status, but shirley Chris Lane gets the nod.

The club didn't own the car park, the council did, and they wanted to sell it.
