Not sure he was a good fit for this league. Wasn't it the Everton connection which got him the job?
I still don't think they've come to terms with their situation and will probably go for another big name rather than someone with experience in this league. I hope so anyway!

I think there are bigger 'names' that are currently out of work that will fancy it - a couple of whom have successfully been promoted out of this league too - I'd expect the likes of Darrell Clarke, the Cowley brothers, possibly Mike Williamson out of those in employment.

Not concerned about this one to be honest. And I actually think Parky would fail there - not the right environment at all.

Parky's fourth favourite with the bookies at 6/1.
But you're right, he's not what they're looking for. Cowleys live in Portsmouth now so may be tempted to Eastleigh?
Darrell Clarke or Williamson would be my guess.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Tranmere in this conversation - within striking distance of home, and sounds like they have slightly more modest expectations than Oldham, given that Palios seems intent on making penny pinching appointments.

Might be more of a danger if they keep Adkins all season, come down anyway, and then want to do what we did when we started up in the Evo Stik.
