Really liked Tony but he made his decision when we went full time. We all understood it.

Tony can't afford to go full time - he's a big earner in his scaffolding job. Don't rule out him turning up at Radcliffe.

Tony worked on one of my jobs for a while.....whilst scaffolders earn 'decent' money for the long hours they work...not to mention the shear physicality of what they do, unfortunately they are no better paid than joiners, sparkies or gas fitters.

Whilst he was the biggest surprise amongst the leavers, in reality we don't know exactly how much they earn - or even whether they'd enjoy football as a full-time job.

If he moved to Radcliffe then I reckon Macc should just start preparing for the playoffs now. I have no idea who's in for a keeper and who isn't.

Perhaps even more surprising news was seeing Zak Goodson move back to Ilkeston on a permanent basis. I guess we should trust the management's judgment a little more from time to time given that neither he nor Harry Perritt have gone on to prove us wrong. Might even be attitude problems present, who knows.

Speaking of other former youth prospects, I see Lewis Salmon has already netted five times for Alfreton this season.
