The commentary seems fine... a little crackly at the start of the second half, then a few seconds outage. Better than nothing....

I've taken to having the match up on the SBK app to cover any dropouts. It's not got actual comms but the live scores and ball tracking give you a good sense of how things are going till the radio commentary comes back to life..

As annoying as the losses of commentary are, the quality of commentary still fat outweighs the failings...


...though I really hope they can be sorted very soon.

Today we hit a new low. It was bad enough that our commentary team appeared to have been seated in the midst of a primary school picnic, but YET AGAIN Radio Alty cut the commentary bang on 5 o'clock while there was still two minutes of the added time left.

We really need to sort this out - if Radio Alty can't schedule around the vagaries of the match officials, we need to find a better run platform.

While I sympathise with the RR team, and the service is excellent, I can't help but think this is only pushing people towards firing up the VPN and watching the game instead. When it works, it becomes a habit. Then they do it for a home game rather than coming down to the game because they bought the season pass.

We really need to keep this service running without a hitch.

Once that is sorted I'll start asking for a higher frame rate on the streaming camera

Thought the radio coverage was much better yesterday personally. There was background noise from the close spectators yes, but much less buffering, no random annoying music interruptions, and for me at least, it went on right up to the final whistle.

Personally thought it was ok except for about 2-3 mins before halftime.

Radio Alty,was having trouble and we got a bleeping noise and then a women telling us they were having trouble,but that did not effect the match commentary except for when the Daleks arrived for a few minutes.
