Same as with Dover a couple of years ago - shouldn't have let them start, at least that way they can start afresh at a lower level and the fans can have a competitive season to look forward to, without a relegation place already decided by default.

How long until Oldham / Chesterfield start picking over the carcass like Stockport did with NLN players a couple of years ago? I think Cardwell was actually part of that process at the time, I wonder whether he'll be Oldham or Chesterfield bound by the New Year...
