I’m watching the England vs China game, and the name Katie Zelem caught my attention. After checking on Wikipedia, it seems she’s the daughter of Alan Zelem, the Macclesfield goalkeeper who always seemed to play a blinder against us.

I’m now waiting to see if David “Slob” Ryan also has a footballing daughter.

That I don't know.

However I do know that, for a long time he very successfully managed Curzon Ashton Women's Team having previously been involved with that time's iteration of Man United's Women
