Cork fans generally thought he was ok. Big test away to table toppers Shamrock Rovers next.

My last word on the situation is that I really hope it's not a case of out of the frying pan and into the fire.
As others have said, they seem to be a relegation bound side. Having said that, if they can stay up and Ollie can play a role in that, it certainly must give his confidence a massive boost.
Best of luck Ollie. Hope you come back stronger and better for the experience. 💪🤞👍

As we all agree, goalkeeping is more brutal than other positions on the ptich. He saves either of those and people will say he's done really well. But sadly he was nowhere near either of them.

One thing he used to have going for him when we were unsure on other aspects (such as commending his box) was his general shot stopping. It appears at the moment that he's lost that too.

There's absolutely no way we could have started the season with him in goal, sorry to say it.

Give the lad a break now. Let's see how things work out.

Stopping the first goal requires making the goal smaller for the striker. If you are more stuck to your line than Matt Dickens you ain't got a chance at doing that.

If Ollie had made moves like Ethan does in this clip -  https://twitter.com/altrinchamfc/status/1683803087167782917 it would have stayed 0-0 for Cork.

It's the fact it's mistakes such as communication and hesitation that lets me believe it is a coaching issue rather than a skill issue.
