Don't think I've seen anything official about this, but is the shirt on show at Jake Moult's testimonial the new home shirt?

It's a reserve or youth kit I think. U18 wore it in their final against Trafford.

It's Puma's standard kit and I'm not a fan. There were murmurs of a 3rd kit last season, to be this summers release.

Didn't think we were due one until 24-25 season given we seem to get new ones every two or three years. (could be wrong though, obviously)

PS. Not struck on it actually.

The current home and away ones were new this season and replaced ones that were new the previous season.

Lacie has been wearing that type of shirt all season for the Black Kites.

She does say it is very comfortable to wear, especially when she is actually playing. She wears it around the house too and sometimes when she does PE at school.

I did hear that the club will just bring out a 3rd shirt for next season not a first team one

Please can someone explain to me why we need a third choice shirt?

and just while i'm on it, what was wrong with all referees and linesmen wearing black?

Better still, the ones in our league should be required to wear a big L

I don’t think it’s about needing one in the footballing sense as, it’s more the retail opportunity as the club will be using the 2022/23 home and away shirts again next season. Introducing a third shirt could make the club some more money if people like it.

I like third shirts for a few reasons but they do take the piss with them in the Premier League, that’s for sure.

Looking forward to seeing it when it’s ready.
