Im guessing Tylor will be first choice right back , will see.

Banks improved as the season went on,but I always thought we needed better. He could be the improvement.

Just hoping Linney?s scan on Monday is positive news. Starting the season without CCC and Linney spear heading us, makes us a lot weaker.

I don't think PP was looking at a new first choice RB but Tylor sort of just landed at his feet. Looking forward to seeing the two Stoke lads again today - should be fun.

I thought Tylor was eye catching last night. Hoping to see great things from him. Whilst I'm in a positive mood Readin has a real burst of speed from a standing start and quick feet. Has his head up as he crosses the ball. Be interesting to see him as a latish sub v Woking against a tired full back. He may indeed have a lot more to offer than that hopefully. Parky will have been monitoring him a lot longer than I have. I'm wondering if he's going to sign him up.

Reddin would be a good addition if we can get him.
Aren't we a little light up top especially if Regan gets an injury? Could Justin fill in there?

I personally feel we are better suited with a direct and quick number 9, like Linney, a complete menace for defenders. I reckon Amulazor could be a good option if we need pace in that position, so we should have enough, if we can keep Linney injury free.

Think we should go for Reddin, thought we lacked pace when Amulazor was injured last season.

Weaver and Reddin both have blistering pace - they would probably both suit Joe Nuttall's game well. Hell of a ball in from Max Haygarth the other night too.

We've got loads of attacking players now but only two front men.
Wonder what the starting line up will be for the Woking game?
I suppose we'll have a better idea after Saturday when it'll probably be a near full strength line up against the Bantams. 🤔

PS. Perhaps I should have started a new thread for this?

I'm just glad this particular subject has actually reached 11 pages, very rare that nowadays with the competition from Facebook.

Anybiody know what our lengthiest subject was - page wise?

It's one about being bored during the close season. Go to the home page of the site and scroll down to the stats section. Click on the link and all the details are there! 😉

Quite a rambling thread.

There's a thread on the Rochdale forum about near neighbours (and league rivals at the time), Bury FC, potentially being in hot water due to the money that they owed to creditors at the time. It obviously ended well. 356 pages.
