Cheshire senior cup match thread

Absolutely no idea wht kind of team PP will start with, however I think we will be to strong for them especially with home advantage
3-1 to Alty and would probably think about 1800 in attendance with 450 from Congleton

Att. 1500 - 3-1 Altrincham. The bears to score first, or equaliser before a professional 2nd half sees us ease home.

Gould
Perritt Jones Ferguson Jones

Lundstrum Marriot Osborne

Bennet Hulme

Linney

I'd be very happy with that! 👍

That’s about right but maybe Goodson his earned a start over Bennett? Pringle has started every round too, so may retain his place.

PS. If we can build a lead, perhaps some substitutions could be made to rest key players?

Just a thought, should the match go to penalties, I would definitely want Goodson and Linney still on - and therefore maybe not starting. And in the circumstances, I would absolutely prioritise this over Aldershot Town, let's have a grand finale to the season!

Rest players for what? A dead dog game at Aldershot? Nah, 100% on this game with a cup at the end.

Hadnt considered Goodwin being available tbh. But yes, he could start. Perhaps even Bennet Linney Goodson Hulme, and dropping Osborne to the bench.

Bennet needs as many minures if we sign him, which I suspect we will.

I hadn't considered Goodwin either. 😉

Think we should get a Goodwin, but hope Goodson starts! 😊😊

99% sure the answer is no, not even for friendlies, now we are National League.
