Hopefully changes are afoot. We can’t go on conceding goals like we do. It’s ridiculous. I don’t want to hear we are a young side or we haven’t got as much  money to spend on players etc. Even if it’s true, I’m sick of hearing this mantra

The word 'sh*t' will probably suffice.

I certainly think a more commanding goalkeeper would help

We can't keep blaming the keeper though; there's clearly an issue at the back - no combination of centre backs has worked this season.

So it's the keeper then.

Very important for CB's to trust their keeper.

Needs to be some degree of change over the summer if we want to be a stable top half side next year. I'd love to hear more about the rationale behind not practising set pieces, but simply to provide players the information they need. I wonder how far that applies to other areas of our game. Thinking back to Sinnott's absurd 20/20 pledge, something just focused on the number of goals conceded will be something I'm looking for next season. I'm guessing the budget won't stretch, but maybe some external help is required to coach the side on defensive aspects of the game. Anyway, what was looking like a good, exciting end to the season a month ago is now pestering out into nothingness and a team finishing 18th is a lot less attractive than one finishing 12th, so it's a bit naff all round really.

Utter tosh after 7 mins.

Linneys goal was f**king magical though. Let's build around him in the pre season up front.

If we're going to be a top half club next season it's likely to be in National North. It is absolutely essential that we beat Dagenham on Tuesday, because if Torquay and Aldershot are still within catching distance they'll fight like tigers in our last two games.

There was talk on here about us relegating Aldershot on the last day of the season. On current form it isn't impossible that it could be the other way round.

We're nowhere near going down but, sadly, my earlier gloomy prediction re the last four league games is 25% correct already.
Would be lovely to reach 60 points but I'm a touch sanguine on that front.
