Dorking Match Thread
« on: April 13, 2023, 09:37:50 AM »

Tough away day, there recent for is good whilst ours is Patchy at best. They will be looking for 3 points to ease relegation jitters.

Hopefully we'll play a strong team to get us over the line. Barring injuries would go with

                     Byrne

 MWH Perritt Baines Jones

      Lundstram Marriott

                Maxi

Hulme      Linney     Sinclair

If baines injured then Ferguson

They have a leakier defence than ours, lets get after them.

I assume James Jones is banned for 3 games then?

That would be my team.

Dorking 3-4 Alty (Linney x2, Hulme, Sinclair)

Good luck and safe journey to all

I guess it's back to Osborne on the left wing then.

I'd try Hugill out there - see my post on the other thread.

Give Goodson a run. We've surely got to start with at least one winger?
Surely we couldn't start Osborne?

Goodson is out on loan at Spennymoor.

I think it would be good for Aaron Bennett to get a good hour or so in the tank as he gets back to full fitness.

We may go three at the back again if Baines is available, meaning we'd do away with wingers anyway.

Now we have lost Sinclair, then stick to wingbacks, even though I would always choose wingers

                                 Bynre

           Jones            Ferguson       Baines

MWH              Marriott     Lunstram              E.Jones

                                Oyedele

                   Hulme               Linney

That's not such a bad team to be honest.

Isn't James Jones suspended though?

Think he's thinking of Perritt rather than James Jones? That's what I'd go with.

I think James Jones might be banned for 4, having been sent off twice

We'd better hope that this line up comes up with the goods then. It's virtually the only option we're left with.

Come on you Robins, bring us home some points! 👍🇦🇹

Looking at the BBC site, looks like we're going 4-2-1-3 ... Linney in, Ferguson not. 🤔

By the way things are going, we're going to win this 7-5! 😉

PS. I'd settle for us winning 2-1 though 😉
