Well done to Chris Millington
« on: April 02, 2023, 11:17:21 PM »

Congratulations to former Altrincham under 18s coach and local Timperley lad Chris on his achievement in his first season as manager in senior football at FC Halifax Town. I should say I am biased as I know him well from church, but he is a smashing bloke who has previously attended Moss Lane with his family (before Halifax) and I wish him all the best in the final.

Still a bit bitter. Atm, wouldn't watch it even with someone else's eyes. Sorry.

PS. Actually, not sorry.

As Saughall, still a bit bitter. First time in 30+ years I've wanted a team who has beaten us in a cup tie to lose in the next round.

Not the first time I've felt like that, but I certainly want Gateshead to win the Final.

I go for the idea that, if we have to lose, can we at least lose to the winners.

He is a local lad and an exceptionally decent bloke.  I wish him well personally, but I hope that he gets poached by a club I have no problem with in the summer.
