Notts County
« on: March 17, 2023, 04:23:12 PM »

Now at home the Tuesday between Southend and Halifax.
Take it we'll be playing the Ressies given we really need to beat the other two?
What do people think? 🤔

Quite a bit, I would have thought.

Linney to start plus ten others. Pile in on the Notts win.

Should be noted that Halifax are also now playing on this Tuesday night at home to Aldershot so that evens it up at least.

The next four matches are the last hard run of games this season. Do well in them (including winning the Halifax tie) and we'll be well safe, pushing upwards and be at Wembley!

If the Halifax and Southend games were the other way round I'd agree 100% but this way, I'm not so sure.
I suppose I just really want to get back to Wembley again after so many years and want us to give ourselves the best possible chance of that.

This entirely  It's 2 games in a week, 4 in 2 weeks, it's well within the capabilities of full time professionals, and the players will be well up for every match I am sure - as they should be.
