Why on earth do we keep getting musical interludes during commentary it’s really annoying and amateurish.

Because it’s free and run by well-intentioned amateurs.

We're still in this!

Well, perhaps not now. 🙄😕

Really frustrating……the constant interruptions.  I suspect that they are running an automation programme of some sort and still have not sorted out how to program it during games.

I think the signal at the ground must be terrible. The stream is also at around 25fps and keeps dropping after it got working 20 mins in.

Why the hell are we not starting Linney and Sinclair?  We really are missing width.

Going to knock Linney's confidence. He hasn't even had a bad game.

Lundstram needs to be central with Marriott. Osborne shouldn't be starting, poor decisions being made and then we end up chasing games.

Jones CB and not out right.

Need to work on balls into the box, it is a joke how many we concede.

We have a week until Southend. Should have started our best 11 and that wasn't it. Frustrating.

My conclusion of to this season and this division is that you don't need to be good to win, you just need to be less sh!t than the the other lot.

It's the signal. The music is programmed to kick in when the signal drops. Professional broadcasters use ISDN lines or 4G/5G boxes that have multiple SIMs and hunt the best signal from every available network. Most non league grounds don't have ISDN lines and the equipment to ride multiple mobile networks is far from cheap. That means we have to rely on a single 4G/5G network or the club's own WiFi - and that, inevitably, means some dropouts at some grounds.

According to the BBC sport live guide BBC Radio Kent managed to carry online commentary of Ebbsfleet, Dover and Maidstone today. Radio Surrey had Woking, Aldershot and Dorking. Time to be lobbying Radio Manchester. They don't even need to provide the staff.

Kent have only one EFL club (Gillingham) while Surrey don't have any. Radio Manchester's catchment area has considerably more clubs higher up the pyramid than us.

Can't see it happening for exactly the reason above. Radio Robins is awesome, all things considered.

Would be interesting to know if anyone has actually pitched them about it though. We are talking about online which they don't do for the league clubs. Alty already have their own commentators so its not like BBC would have to pay for any. All that's needed is the tech. Some people round here seem to give up very easily.

If you'd been offered our current situation five or six years ago when we were losing to Matlock you'd have jumped at it, or at least I'd hope you would.
