I presume there are rules about what percentage of the tickets have to be made available to away fans in the FA Trophy. I think it's 15% in the FA Cup, which is a higher figure than for league games.

If we can still get over 1100 in the open end, with a few seats that's getting on for a quarter of a 5000 capacity.
That's more than enough to satisfy any regulations I would have thought.
If they're unhappy with that, tough doo-doo.

Of course this could have been avoided if played on a neutral league ground with, say, 45% of capacity per club.

By the way, according to the figures provided by the FA, we've already blanked over £23k in prize money in our trophy run so far.
Winning the semi would boost that to almost £40k.

Lovely stuff.

Add the gate money to that, and we're probably looking at a very significant (and welcome) sum.

If we somehow do manage to get a home draw, we really must restrict away fans to the open end with a few seats in the end of the family stand for those who need them.
We can certainly fill the rest of the ground and need to make our advantage in support really count.
It's too important a game to feel sorry for away fans potentially getting wet!
I absolutely agree. Golf road end rain or shine and a few seats. If they sell out they sell out. Surely we can fill the rest of the ground with Alty support. Wonder what admission charges would be?

Correct.

We'd probably have to release in tranches:

Season Ticket holders x 2 tickets (up to 2030)
VIP x 4 / Gold x 2 / Patron cards x 2 tickets (up to 240)
Sponsor Lounge requirments (up to 100)
---
Those that came to Curzon or Wrexham (upto 2600)
---
Online previously purchased a ticket
---
Public Sale at Southend
---
Open Sale

Cue Gateshead Away

I was hoping for Halifax in the final. I'm happy with that though.

Home is the main thing & by playing ‘Fax also guaranteed it should be a sell out with a much larger away support than ‘Heed or Barnet would have bought. Both sides will fancy their chances & difficult to read too much into the Christmas fixtures with the number of personnel changes we’ve had since then. A lot for the club to do off the pitch in the build up so patience to go with the inevitable giddiness & hundreds of enquiries they’ll be fielding in the run up. I’d anticipate a 5k sell out crowed with Fax getting about 1000 tickets.
