On paper, Gateshead - but, you know, it's Gateshead, so... Halifax?

We can beat any of the 3 teams at home. Away is a different story, pleeease not Gateshead away. Halifax at home is the ideal draw.

I'm actually more wary of Halifax than the other two as, like us, they don't have anything else to play for.

That York made five changes from their win at Bromley supports Leon's view. A Home draw is the priority imho.

League Standing (H):

Alty: 11th
Barnet: 7th
Halifax: 14th
Gateshead: 23rd (was quite surprised by this)

League Standing (A):

Alty: 17th
Barnet: 6th
Halifax: 18th
Gateshead: 13th

Home draw with Halifax please - and it'll result in the fullest ground too.

Absolutely Hendo. Still think for a one off it really should be at a neutral L2 ground at this stage but there we are. With 4K home fans in I’d back us against any of them at home. Away I’d feel most confident at Gateshead with their poor home record & the impossibility of creating any kind of atmosphere at their soulesss athletics track.I think Halifax & Barnet could both draw big numbers for a Semi.

If we somehow do manage to get a home draw, we really must restrict away fans to the open end with a few seats in the end of the family stand for those who need them.
We can certainly fill the rest of the ground and need to make our advantage in support really count.
It's too important a game to feel sorry for away fans potentially getting wet!

We had 2x home already (and 2 x away). Just feels a bit surreal; a Semi Final... in the trophy! Can't remember the last time we even had a CSC SF!

I absolutely agree. Golf road end rain or shine and a few seats. If they sell out they sell out. Surely we can fill the rest of the ground with Alty support. Wonder what admission charges would be?

Agree over the semi, last one 1991 for the trophy. 32 years. Flippin Eck. Be amazing if we do get a home draw. Here's hoping..
