York City away in the League
« on: March 11, 2023, 09:21:51 PM »

I've decided to stay up in Yorkshire for this one.

York will put out a stronger 11, they need the points.

How can we get tickets?

There for sale on there website I think, we will also probably have a stronger team with the return of Linney.

Be streaming as working till 6pm on Tuesday.

After yesterday I am going to make the effort and go straight from work on Tuesday.  The players deserve to see and hear a decent away contingent cheering them on after their heroic efforts yesterday.

Can we do it again now on Tuesday?
Here's hoping!
Perhaps Linney will come as a surprise for them and he can do a 'Peersy' on them for us?!

Same team but with Linney in for Hugill.

The only player still giving me some cause for concern is Harry Perritt - I was delighted when he signed permanently, and I think he'll definitely come good - but still looks a little wobbly, hopefully he'll grow in confidence again like Eddy Jones has.

Full backs rarely get look ins for MOM awards - but I think Eddy would have been my vote yesterday.

We had them pinned back in their own half for most of the game. I don't see why we can't do that again even if we rotate the squad a bit. They only had two chances on goal in 90 minutes.

I thought Perritt was good. improved on last year definitely

He was named Man of the Match in the report in the NLP today.

Eddie Jones my POTS; as good as the attacking players have been; and storming as Marriot has been; EJ has performed beyond his abilities, and grown in every game - the only bright spark against SC**thorpe.

He was a solid full back, with very little ability going forward. Seems to come on leaps and bounds in his attacking play.

We're allowed to improve players...

For me it was Marriott, he was awesome.

Lundstram ran him close for me, and Jordan was immense.

Game of opinions, but those around me were buzzing with Isaac’s performance. We may be lucky to hold on to him in the summer …can only imagine he’ll be the next one on the radar of the sharks, if he isn’t already

Eddy's a reasonably quiet lad and it's great to see him driving forward with a bit more confidence - 2 great assists and should have had a clean sheet too.

It can't have been easy to have Ryan Colclough moaning at him all the time - his departure might be the making of him!

We know what we're getting with Isaac and Josh - solid 8's/9's every week. If anyone ourperforms them on a weekly basis we know they'd be MOM.
