I got carried away and bought a ticket then realised I could have got in as a concession (over 60's) gutted.

I really don't fancy trotting over there for two midweek games so I hope it is on.

Met office forecast is ,minus 6 minimum temp overnight in York. If that was at Alty I'd be amazed if we could get a game on at the JDS.Wonder if there's an early-ish pitch inspection planned.

According to York official website we've been moved to West Stand and seats are unreserved. Bigger space for us.

Pic on Facebook of one end of the ground taken from outside. Completely covered with frost covers. It appears York has dodged the snow but minus 4 tonight. Hopefully the covers do their job. No mention of pitch inspection so they may be confident from past experience it'll be ok.

I live in York and we've only had a light dusting of snow and it's about 5 degrees and sunny today. So as others have said the only possible risk is the low temps overnight. I'm more worried about the second half at SC**thorpre than the weather...

According to York official website we've been moved to West Stand and seats are unreserved. Bigger space for us.

The game tomorrow is not causing much excitement at their end.  Most of their supporters who have expressed an opinion say that it is essential for them to win on Tuesday night as the 3 points on offer is needed considerably more then their progression in the Trophy.

They are expecting 800 Alty fans on Saturday.  I am expecting closer to 1,000 to make the trip.  Most of their fans understand that the Trophy is more important to us (except for one Jerkvic who remarks that we must be interested in the Trophy because, they, (Alty) have "Not been to Wembley as far as I'm aware"

Another of their fans suggests (tongue in cheek) that perhaps a deal could be reached between the clubs whereby they get their 3 points and we progress in the Trophy... Mmmm... why is my head suddenly full of enchanting music and visions of John King lifting the FA Trophy (TWICE) at WEMBLEY back in the day... oh, and not to forget the time when Alty were beaten finalists at WEMBLEY.

Their record is similar to ours, won it twice and beaten finalists once.

They don't have tinternet in Yarkshire yet to research cup records. As for the 3 points/cup win deal I'd shake hands on that now!
