Unsure

Miles or Perritt - JJ or Baines or Ferguson - Jones

        Marriot Lundstrum

Maxi - Osborne - Sinclair

 Hulme

Bench : Pringle, Bennett/Hugill, Other GK, Other CB, Other RB if fit
No need to handicap ourselves any more by only playing 3-2-3-1

Would definitely have WH at full back if he's still with us.

It's too big a game to be getting Perritt and Ferguson up to speed so I'd probably stick with Jones and Baines as centre backs.

Some posters are selecting Hugill. Have I missed something? Was he a sub recently? I don't remember seeing him.

Ollie Byrne's confidence is shot, so I'd do everything in my power to get a goalkeeper in this week.

?
WH
Jones
Baines
Jones
Marriott
Lundstram
Oyedale
Sinclair
Hulme
Linney

Subs:
Gould, Perritt, Ferguson, Pringle, Osborne, Bennett - possibly one loan too many (lost track)

Bizarrely as Flynny confirmed in his post match interview with PP last night there are no loan restrictions in the Trophy so should give us a lot more flexibility this Saturday & confuse York when they are trying to work out our team so that’s one positive at least.

Beginning to get a really uneasy feeling about Saturday.
Having said that however, I had a good feeling about last night yesterday afternoon. 😕

Hulme and Osborne have done well running the wings together... so maybe Sinclair up front, we know he's a good finisher?

I doubt Bennett is anywhere near fit enough to feature from the start.

Just an additional thought... have we possibly thought about pairing Harry Perritt up with Isaac Marriot in midfield and using Josh Lundstram as a proper outlet at full back?

This last idea I actually quite like, as I'm unsure giving Perritt another go at full back currently is a good idea - and MWH clearly isn't available.

Osborne and Hulme as wingers scares the crap out of me.

Need legs and pace out there, especially if our fullbacks aren't getting forward.

Objectively, I agree with you - however it worked quite well recently across a number of consecutive fixtures.

Jordan is the only player that's looked even remotely effective at right wing, and I think we need someone more clinical than him up front for a cup fixture.

Our full backs were the only bright spark of last night

No snow around York when I was driving past to Whitby this morning. Cold and damp but that's Yorkshire.

Reading the supporters page, it would appear, York do not have undersoil heating but do have frost covers. They'll be needed if the temp drops as predicted to -5c on Friday night. Frost/frozen pitch will be the biggest threat as stays cold Saturday,

Hopefully we will get early notice if there are any pitch problems and an inspection is required.
