Very sad loss to the club, wonderful behind the bar and always had a smile for you.

A great deal of help to Steve from Sale when I decided to quit my bad pork-scratching habit. I remember telling her that I was having too many fillings in my teeth and with her cheery smile she said, 'right! I'll stop ordering them then, cos you're the only one who buys them.' So I said, 'well just order one more box for old times sake.' She replied with a curt no, thereby saving my teeth for further damage.

RIP Jenny, you'll be glad to know I still have my own teeth! Love to the rest of your family too.

Auntie Jenny is and was my favourite person at Moss Lane forever.

I first came to watch Alty because I got tickets for free through my school. I fell in love with the club from the first game. I wrote a letter to the club thanking them for the ticket and explaining how much I'd enjoyed the day despite the loss. I received a response from Jenny inviting me down to the ground to take a tour around the club, and to meet John who was manager at the time. It was magical for an 8 year old kid to get to see behind the curtain, something I know now was a small gesture but was absolutely integral to me developing a love for the club.

Thank you Jenny for putting me firmly on the path of joy and despair that is being an Altrincham fan.

I'm shocked/sad I've not seen anything from the club on this yet.

Very sad news, worked alongside Jenny for years dealing with kit , both for team and club shop. Not only that, I would call at her house before every training session collecting balls and other training equipment . Nothing was too much trouble for Jenny, a true Alty Legend alongside George, RIP Jenny.

Indeed, I thought the club would have put up a notice acknowledging her Sterling work that she did for the football club

I informed Bill Waterson of the sad news early yesterday afternoon but who on earth knows who is actually responsible for updating that club website with such information?

I note that the death of Brian Lee has been recorded.
