Great result. Job done - and glad it was a two goal cushion or we'd have never heard the end of that Bracknell goal that wasn't given. Alty fans in great voice too.

A good but hard listen with all the crowd around. That screechy woman was very irritating.

I concur.  Eye of newt and toe of frog came to mind.

Looked like we were in for a comfortable afternoon after the first goal - but we were pretty dreadful for the most part after that, they showed why they score plenty of goals, their 7, 9 and 11 all looked dangerous.

How that goal of theirs wasn't given, I'll never know - didn't it hit the roof of the net after the bounce?

Maxi Oyedele looked a class act when he came on.

Anyone could win it from here on in - let's hope we get a decent draw and not something like Aldershot away.

Agreed. It was like being held captive in Guantanamo Bay and tortured with recordings of one of those dreadful women from Birds Of A Feather.

After a desperately sad week for the club, it was a blessed relief to finish it on a happier note, especially in a competition which was so close to John King's heart.

Just got back. Difficult bobbly pitch, spongy as hell so not really suiting our football style. Thought we started well and good goal by Sinclair. They responded, good strike of the bar, I was stood at that end and couldn't tell it crossed the line. The referee was 40 yards away and liner was midway down the line, so would never be given if did go in. Luckily Ollie picked lose ball up as there striker was going to pounce, we then go down other end and score. Good stuff.

Second half thought we were poor, they got a lucky deflection for a goal. We then had a couple of attacks and got it too 3-1 with Quintara scoring.

Pleased were in the last 8

The pitch looked short as well as bobbly - there really wasn't much room to play. I didn't think that the passing game really got together. We were easily the better side until they hit the bar (consensus seems to be it was well over the line), after which we seemed unable to string passes together. We looked a bit like a team that didn't know each other too well...

Although we weren't great, there was a good double save by their keeper from Jordan at the end of the first half, and Jordan had a really good chance, not quite dinking over the advancing keeper, early in the second. They had more territory, but I'd say we had much better chances. Wasn't an easy watch after they got one back - looked like a mis-hit shot to me - but it's hard to say they didn't deserve a goal.

As has been mentioned, Maxi looked a class apart when he came on. One of those players who looks like he has much more time than anyone else. We need to make the most of having him - he's too good to be back next season.

Job done. Not a great performance, but a good result. And nice to see two new goalscorers.

We will win 4-1

Close but no cigar. I'll take it though!

Genuinely perplexed about that Bracknell "goal" in the first half. I saw the net ripple and everything!

Sounded like we got away with that one a bit, but our extra class told.

Barnet our biggest remaining threat, though Gateshead could be a bugger!
