It's comforting to hear we did everything we could to keep him - including exploring a permanent deal.

Before the inevitable glumfest begins, I firmly believe we're all the richer for him having been here.

Aaron Bennett loan to replace him would be nice.

He's been great for us.
Thanks for the memories Chris and all the best for your future wherever it may take you.

Plenty of passion playing in the red and white shirt.
Been a pleasure to watch.
All the best Chris.
Gutting to see three quality players leave in a short space of time, unfortunately expected and only one of those belonged to us.
If we keep PP and Neil then Con-Clarke will be back in a year or two.

Thank you Chris for all your efforts whilst wearing an Alty shirt. Best wishes for your future career. You were a pleasure to watch.

Now the Board and management team at Alty FC must ensure that we don’t undo all the great work and achievements that the players have achieved so far this season isn’t wasted.

We need to keep progressing and maintain a strong fanbase week in week out especially at home games.

We do not want to bumble along hoping we don’t get sucked into the relegation battle. The players and fans do not deserve that.

Onwards & Upwards…

The one other thing I am grateful for on Saturday, despite the result, was that I was able to go up to Chris in the CSH after the game, shake his hand and personally thank him for all he has done for our club. I told him I had really enjoyed watching him and wished him all the best in his future career.

Really glad I did that.

Good on you; I would have loved to have done that.

I hope to God we get to see him in an Alty shirt again.

All credit to the board for their efforts.  An incredibly gifted player who is capable of playing at a much higher level.  I hope his parent club maintain his development
