Standing at the back of the Chequers End until the half time whistle today, after the early teething troubles  I was pleasantly surprised to find I had time to both get served and finish my very nice porter in the fanzone (by which time the queue had almost gone) in good time for the start of the second half, even with a crowd of (supposedly) nearly 2,000. This bodes well for future big games this season, and I look forward to further improvements in the future when a roof and heating is added and the food pod opens.

Thanks Hugh - its really nice to come on here and find a positive comment related to the work we put in.

I checked the transactions before I saw this - and at the HT peak we were taking 3 card payments per minute which is some going in such a small facility.

It has also been tidied up outside of the entrance too, courtesy of Brian Birtles, and looks a lot more presentable in that zone now, and we have large signage on order to start advertising it - although that has the potential to make it popular and harder to get served :-)
