A 26yr old loaned out might be an indication his home club might be looking to let him go at the end os the season. Let's see how good he is!

Remains to be seen how much of a strain Toby actually had - although I agree I thought the new lad did OK.

Valiant effort tonight in a game our season won't be judged on.

James Jones again culpable for the goal, after pondering a bouncing ball against Maidenhead. We can't go into next season with him as first choice.

By not playing he could not be scouted - not least by Chesterfield, who have previously shown an interest.

I thought either PP or Toby (can't remember which) said at the start of the season that Portsmouth didn't make an offer.
