After his heroics in the penalty shootout, I thought he would have been brimming with confidence last night. He just doesn’t seem himself? Punching balls like his playing volleyball, stuck on his line like Velcro and giving away needless opportunities to attackers by making rash decisions.

There’s a good keeper in there somewhere, but maybe a shame up needed and competition for the number 1 jersey is required?

Built like a keeper who should be claiming crosses with authority.

Apparently confident lad off the pitch so potentially a mental issue.Need to keep practicing claiming balls and give it a go in games.

He may fumble a couple but he needs to gain confidence and keep trting. There were at least two last night that he should be catching with ease that he punched.

Posted my reply on the Osborne thread by mistake and not technically adept enough to copy and paste it to here. 😉

Abbreviated response = with time and coaching he'll be fine!

I agree that’s he young (especially for a GK) & there will be improvement in him. However, a solid team starts from the GK & so our continued inability to keep clean sheets & what seems like two goals a game we let in at the moment is a big issue. Only Dorking outside the relegation zone have let in more than us & when you look at our goals against compared to the rest of the top half it’s particularly bad.

Parky’s teams always pleasing on the eye & great going forward but in the next couple of years if we do have aspirations around the play offs our GA has to get so much better.

A couple of bizarre and ineffective punches last night when it seemed far easier to have caught the ball.

I really do fear for us when Wrexham visit the JDS early next month and Ben Tozer is launching those Exocet missile long throws into the heart of the penalty area.

He is a good shot stopper, but needs more training to control the box. Some good training should sort this.

Remember TT had quite a few doubters when he started with us.
