Sent off for Warrington today - apparently an away supporter from Guiseley urinated in Tony's water bottle and TT squirted the bottle in the face of the said "fan" when he found out.

I think his reaction was rather restrained!

I was there but down the other end so didn't see much. Bizarre turn of events. There was two further red cards as well

Sounds rather bizarre. How does a supporter presumably behind the pitch barrier manage to access a keepers bottle never mind manage to pi55 in it?

Yeah-that’s the bit I don’t understand even if he did get hold of it what are his fellow Guiseley fans saying to him whilst he’s doing this & did no stewards or anyone else spot it? Really bizarre story on all sides. If true & you can’t imagine there was more then 50 Guiseley fans there it shouldn’t be too hard to identify & issue a lifetime ban for the utter weirdo that did it.

I’ve now seen the video on Twitter which is rapidly going viral-a Guiseley ‘fan’ definitely did it. Criminal charges incoming & the red card rescinded for TT I hope.

The barrier is pretty low at cantilever so it's within the realms of possibility

Perhaps he has been blessed with a particularly accurate aim?

I wasn't there, but from what I have heard, the water bottle was taken in the first half,  TT got a replacement, and then the original one was returned  in the second with its new contents. The culprit readily admitted what he had done, but there's still a question mark about the stewarding if a player's belongings can be taken.
Josh Amis got sent off too today.

Covered by the Mirror and the Express too now. Of all the things to become famous for... I suppose I should give a link:
https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/goalkeeper-drank-urine-bottle-fan-28536497
"Today I fell out of love with the game". (TT) It'd be such a shame if this put him or anyone else off football.
I suppose the referee had no choice but to send him off given the rules, similar to the Witton player who tackled a pitch invader in a CSC final at ML. Still, it does seem wrong that this spectator's actions have turned the game for Guiseley. On a more serious note, there are worse things that might be slipped into a keeper's bottle, and such a thing must not be allowed to happen again if at all possible.
