Pringle seems to want to look forward whenever he can.
Also he seems able to find a nice little ball quite often and will track back too.
Given what we have available I'd start hi regularly

My reservation regarding Pringle is that, to date, he has been far more effective when he has come on as an 'impact' substitute for the closing 20 minutes or so than on the occasions when he has featured in the starting XI.

Whilst taking your point it is much easier to evaluate what you most often see.
There is no doubt of his effectiveness having been introduced from the bench.
I just wonder whether enough has been seen of him as a starter for worthwhile evaluation to be permitted.
If, for arguments sake he started, played as he can and allowed us to score 2 or 3 before being withdrawn, might that not be better than hurling him into the fray in an attempt to rescue a situation?

I think they maybe a banana skin if we defend the way we have been doing, expecting an open game with quite a few goals. 3-3

Indeed; we have to stand firm in the first half. They're a footballing side like us so hopefully a chance to build confidence.

I tend to agree Barry. When he has started a game he seems unable to last a full 90 mins. Having said that, he is a great asset to the team

The feel factor is definitely back…. With players such as Kozzy, Marriot and Baines to come back into the team following big injuries, I truly believe we can secure a mid-table finish. The squad fighting for places, a strong bench and with us behind them, we will have nothing to fear!

A repeat score line from Tuesday today… 3-1 Alty 🥳

Not as easy as we think this game. Going for 1-1, attendance 1593. Watch out for James McShane as per websites.

So far, so good we escaped our traditional slow start with a couple of early scares.

We definitely deserve to be ahead but this game is far from over - you can see why Dorking's results have been quite extreme, they're remarkably similar to us and want to play it out from the back - which Marcus has cottoned on to.

Hopefully we kick on rather than sit back.

Odd interview from their manager (found on you tube via their TWITTER)
Seems to accept the blame, then says some of their playerd were sh!t
Credits Alty and the suggests they could have won it in the second half

Very bizarre interview, the fella sounds like a bit of a fruit loop. Owner / manager situations always end in tears.

Now that every team will have done their homework on them, they'll take a lots of pastings if they continue to insist on playing out of the back like that.

Must be exactly what we looked like 2 years ago.

If you search "Bunch of Amateurs" on YouTube there is a whole series on Marc White and Dorking.

He must be a little bit mad, but I find him very likeable with it 😂

Yes very enjoyable, good performance and great result.

Far fewer costly mistakes at the back and taking more chances up front obviously making a massive difference.

Credit to Parky, Sorvs and the lads on the big improvements all round compared to a few weeks ago.

Thought Marcus did very well, often winning the ball against 1 or 2 of their defenders and creating problems (e.g. our first goal from Ryans free kick), linking up well and deserved his goal.

Great time to be getting a bit of form with FA cup coming up next weekend.

When did we last score 4? :o
