"The fans won the match today" - Phil Parkinson

I felt that too. Maybe I was imagining it (though I think not) but I really felt I could sense the players responding to the crowd. I felt emotional and emotionally drained at the end of that. And I was so pleased to get the clean sheet and a sustained spell of attacking pressure like in previous seasons. What I want to say is a big thankyou to everyone whose magnificent support helped us over the line today, and let's try and keep this going into the coming games. If we do, I no longer doubt that we will stay up. Onwards and upwards. Come on Alty!

It was hard work first half sustaining that atmsophere; but greatful to those that stayed with the singing as much as we could.

Unfortunately a lot of the songs have gone with the players that left; or are injured; add in the lack of booze and results atmosphere been hardworking.

However, best atmosphere for many, many months. And I'm pleased it was recognised.
