What chance of Ryan Forde being recalled to briefly step into the breach?
Or does the panel think it might be a step too far this early in his development?

Forde has to be better than Hulme,  but far too early.

It can’t be good for the team knowing that they are going into a game without their first choice keeper. Regardless of how Gould performed that sort of thing eats away at you in the back of your mind. If they were to play a 17 year old it’s be the same.

Although whoever we get probably won’t be very experienced

Lee Spencer springs to mind. That FA Cup defeat to Accrington still haunts me to this day!

Don’t worry PCCP. I’m sure it won’t be Lee Spencer tonight.

Phil does enjoy throwing new signing in to the team sheet.

Judging by Olivers dad cringe worth rant,  its still not sorted.

Im travelling in hope rather than expectations

WE may be full time professional - Welsh FA are clearly not.

Well, that was pretty poor if I’m honest. Ponderous and timid in possession, no flexibility, some positional changes that didn’t work and gifted them two goals.

It’s not the time to panic or get too down about it but we’ve got to take the bull by the horns and get serious now. Sort the goal keeper situation, tell Barrows to get fit, sign at least two more adults who’ve played football and get aggressive in the final third.

We’ve essentially done the same passing over and over again and expected a different result. Insanity?

Baines held up well, we didn’t look too threatened by them but it was like a training ground game. Need to crack on now.

Good post.  It's very unfortunate that Dermot Mee's first significant contribution was to make a mistake which led to a goal, but that was the case, and his team-mates therefore have that worrying lack of confidence in him.

We actually had two strikers on for a time tonight, but stiil seem to be prone to pass it around the circle that one time too often, trying to find the perfect opportunity rather than have a go at goal.

The players aren't suddenly bad players though, so we can turn this around, starting against a Yeovil Town team who have had a worse start than us.

I should add that the travelling support was superb, 80/90 or so. A healthy dose of exiles.

Can only comment on what I listened too, but sounded like we gifted two goals to them and were more than comfy for a draw. whilst we didn't create much final product, it sounded as though we created more than them but lack the clinical finish. Service to Dinanga and Hulme sounded non existent, need to get them more in the game and find a way to get both wings firing. Need fullbacks that can push on as well. It's early in the season and a new team, especially with the loanees that are coming in. Know better after 10 games or so.

In fairness to Mee,  anyone who T**ts a ball from near enough half way unnanounced is going to struggle to control it.

Clearly the ball caught him out as it probably wouldnt have been deemed a backpass.

He made two great saves at 1 nil.

Couldn’t make last night but fact of the matter re Mee is that United are trusting us with one of their kids for an extended period for the first time in god knows how many years-for the long term health of the club that can only be a good thing. Now, if only we could get City to do the same…
