Maidenhead Match Thread
« on: August 15, 2022, 09:35:38 AM »

Only change I envisage is the keeper, no idea who is going get the gloves.

Predict another low scoring game

Maidenhead 1-1 Alty (Colclough)

Good luck to all who go

Agree keeper is the current unknown, hoping for another positive result, play like we have to date and we can get one.

If we can get something there and beat Yeovil next Saturday, it'll have been a very encouraging start.
I believe we can do it.
Come on you Supers 👍

You can always hope.
I was hoping to discover how many season tickets we've shifted.
I'm not banking on either to be fair.

They are probably busy trying to sort it out for tomorrow

Is there a deadline you are working too?

I thought by the opening home game of the season we might have heard something.

I think we'll win this. First game of the season for me so really looking forward to it, not missed the opening two of the season since the early 00's!

I think we'll see a bit of rotation, Saturday will have took it out of a few of them.

I'd hope for 7 points from the opening 4; beating Maidenhead and Maidstone, losing at Bromley and a draw again Yeovil.

A win tomorrow would be a big step toward that target; and take the pressure off a little against Yeovil.

We look good going forward, shakey down the full back and lacking a clinical goalscorer, someones going to get a T**tting soon.

Is Steven Drench still involved with the club at all? I wonder if he can be tempted out of retirement for a game or 2 if so

Reference the Olly Byrne situation I believe no news is bad news. If he is going to play tonight we’d have had an announcement unless the clearance arrives sometime later today.

Or maybe the club wants to keep the opposition guessing?

Phil does enjoy throwing new signing in to the team sheet.

Judging by Olivers dad cringe worth rant,  its still not sorted.

Im travelling in hope rather than expectations
