When you stop to think how far he's brought the Club on in the last five years it's amazing.
The Board deserve a collective pat on the back too. 😊

Agreed, he is also very easy to talk to and a very likeable fellow. Deserves all the success that both Phil and Neil both have given us so far.

Ongoing lets be patient, and give them time. Top half finish would do for me next season, as we adapt to being full time. Onward steady growth from then on. We need to keep increasing our fan base too, Phil and Neil have already done so much to attain that steady increase, hope it continues.

It's worth pausing to remember that there were people within the club who would have been content to persist with Matt Doughty as manager.

Very much so, and we could be looking forwards to derbies with Broadheath Central next season.

That single decision has probably had the most significant effect this club has seen in the past hundred years(maybe only surpassed by kingy, fans and friends bailing us out after maunders) it is all debatable. Either way what a position to be in! always the bridesmaid etc i really would love to hear the opinions Joe,Ecky,Skipper and Mr J Black and others departed.

I would have thought White and Swales had to be up there too?

I still laugh at the "marked improvement" nonsense we finished bottom after winning 4 games

Before Freddie Pye came in, we were losing to the likes of Rhyl and Winsford on a regular basis. But for his spadework, we would quite likely not have got into the new Northern Premier League. White and Swales moved us to greater heights of achievement.

This in no way undermines what PP and Sorvs have done so far, and I'm confident there's more to come.

I remember those days well Phil. Freddie Pie along with Noel White and Pete Swales were indeed instrumental in the progress of Altrincham FC.

Todays management duo are doing a great job and long may it continue. We’re looking forward to the coming season. Full time at Moss Lane is an exciting time.

And, lets face it, they progressed well up the footballing ladder: this says a lot about what they did at Moss Lane.
