2-0 down at HT

Looks like they need to climb a Welsh mountain to get back into this one

They couldn't blow it ... could they?

County have a game in hand vs Torquay on Wednesday and Halifax on Sunday, both at home. Four points and they've still won it.
Wrexham play AT Dagenham (still with a chance of making the play offs) on Sunday.
Tense nailbiter (for them 😉)

County clearly want the season to end ASAP.

Wrexham might just run out of road - but it'll only take one slip up with the goal difference swing today... and they'll be bricking themselves about having to play Halifax.

I wouldn’t put money on County they are struggling just now. I reckon they wouldn’t fair well in a playoff scenario either they seem to have lost the plot

I agree. The pressure has got to them.

Wrexham we’re very clinical today. Palmer and Mullen bounce of each other well.

County seems to have lost the plot a bit, shaky at the back. Newby is very left footed orientated, (similar to Mooney and Pringle) Dan is using his right foot more often of late.
Madden was off target a lot today.

It will be close, if Stockport don’t win it as league champs I really do fear for them in the playoffs

I hope both teams go up, they have too much for this league and both will do well in Lge 2.

Stockport have lost a lot of games recently & seemingly a lot of their momentum with it. There’s no doubt if the season lasted another week then Wrexham would win it. I’d say it’s pretty much 50/50 now.

If Wrexham win it, and my earlier hunch about Solihull Moors in the playoffs comes good, we could yet have a revenge mission over Christmas.

County in the box seat now. Just need a draw at home to Halifax even if Wrexham win at daggers.

Well done county. Tonight’s win should have settled the nerves a bit.

Go and beat or draw with Halifax this weekend and job done.

I also hope Wrexham win a place in Div 2 next year, both teams will do well.

Stockport might struggle against Halifax, so U think it is in the balance who wins the tile still.

I like Stockport and think their fans have been class in non league, I don't like Wrexham at all, though actually most of their fans are ok, having done the away turnstile against them this season - its the few that are obnoxious bullies that makes me dislike them.

So, i should want Stockport to go up, and Wrexham to stay down, but I'd rather have Stockport back at Moss Lane next season than Wrexham, so I am torn on this.

Would their Hollywood backers jump ship if they fail to get promoted?

I suspect a lot depends on whether Halifax go for third (and thus one game less for promotion) or save for the play-offs. At any rate, they're one of the few teams in this league who ought to have a chance of beating County, so far from certain.
