Retain:
Thompson
Mullarkey
Ferguson
Marriott
Osborne
Mooney
Kosylo
Colclough - although I suspect we'll entertain the right offers to subsidise our transition

Sign (if we can):
Jones - realistic
Cooper - more realistic now Rotherham have gone up
Perritt - well regarded, would have to push hard or get another loan
Hulme - amazed if not already a done deal
Kirby - assume he'll be a free agent

Would have retained but now expecting to depart:
Gould?
Drench?
White - shame, as he'd played himself right back into the picture
Hampson - good full time job and poor injury record
Hannigan - left Fylde for same reasons
Moult - not getting younger, assume he has a good job too
Hancock - good job outside football

Undecided:
Pringle (depends who else we can get in)

Would have expected to release anyway:
Densmore
Sutton
Digie
Morgan
Jackson
Dinanga
Leitch-Smith

If we lose Colclough then I'd love Elliott Newby back - although he seems to be playing well for Stockport at the moment. His twin brother Alex is also likely to be released by Rochdale and can play at Number 10 or up front, as well as on the wing. I'd also like us try to solve the long term centre forward conundrum whilst it's on our own terms.

^^^^^^
This!
Well described.
I would have said exactly the same if I had the energy to write all that!! 😂😂😂😂

My only quibble would be the hope we could keep Andy White in some way.

I'd keep Andy White, but not Cooper. Otherwise I'd pretty much agree with the above. I'd probably also wave goodbye to Pringle, who's not quite good enough and isn't a frequent starter.

I'm not sure that Stoke would release Jones, but we might have more luck with Perritt. We MUST make Ferguson a decent offer - he's definitely one for the future, and could eventually move to a bigger club for a decent wedge.

Morgan will stay. PP said he bought him in early because he became available but the plan was to get him in over the summer. I think he’s seen as one for the future rather than first choice for the start of the season

Great summary
My money is on Perritt (and Hulme) being done deals

Are you sure about Cooper - I thought consensus was that he's played well? Unfortunately for him I think we've got three great young centre backs at the club currently.

I think you've got Jones and Perritt the wrong way round too, I think Perritt would be the tougher one of the two.

With regard to Perritt I think it's generally considered that his future is at holding midfield rather than full back(?), which is an interesting thought too.

Hope you're correct. Perritt is a great full back.
Hulme is proving himself at National level but we still need another striker.

Also, can't wait to see more details on the training facilities.

I did wonder if that was anything to do with why we are having a friendly against Wythenshawe Town

I thought it was going to be Egerton where the reserves play in Knutsford?

This is about right.  I'm surprised/disappointed at comments suggesting Hannigan and Hampson are not good enough, as I think both are still capable and intelligent players capabel of doing a job for us; I have no idea what Tom does outside football (I know that Conner is a teacher) and so I'd understand if secure employment prospects meant that they wanted to remain p/t.

See M*cc are going full time too in the NPL Div1 North! 🤯
(their average gate this season was 3000+ though)

Which is over a thousand more than what they got in the EFL. 🙄

With regard to Hampson / Hannigan - or any others on that particular list, for that matter - Moult, Hancock etc...

I don't think you'll find many suggesting that they aren't good enough - it's just unlikely that they can now commit to us, that's all.

Brutal for us to lose so many incredible servants in one go - but hopefully we'll only ever do this once.
