Barnet match thread
« on: May 01, 2022, 11:45:57 AM »

Thought I'd just jump in with this as I haven't done it before! 😉
If we can win this one, I think I'm right in saying we can't finish lower than fifteenth?
It also will keep the tantalising prospect of finishing twelfth on track.
I'm going to be dragging my old body up to Alty for this one in anticipation of the three points coming our way.
3-1 to the Supers! 😉

Guess will be a similar lineup to yesterday with players feeling leggy or injured rotated out. As Jordan I assume is still injured then Josh up front again.

Spring is in the air. We don't have any worries. Nothing to lose. Do it for the fans. 2 - 0 would be very acceptable.

Bit of an odd game when both sides could have each had a couple more goals.
Heard some say it had an end of season feel to it, we looked like we had been to Dover and back only a day or so before. Not great to have a game so soon after such a long trip -hence the niggles, tweaks, injuries with players going down/off. So hope Tony T, Andy White, Ryan Colclough etc are OK. Not sure where Kossy was - injured? Thought Hall looked useful up front.

With all the excitement of the FT announcement , not surprising lack of views from Monday !
The lads indeed looked very 'leggy' especially in the second half when Barnet repeatedly ran right through our midfield before Parky added reinforcements .  They looked far better than their position in the table too.  Not too unhappy with the draw tbh .  Anyway lets get 'Back to the Future'.🙂

Considering we made quite a few goalmouth clearances a point was a decent result in the end.

I enjoyed the game, the second half have the end of season feel to it though that may be cos it was my last game. The first half was great fun.
