Unbelievably, that’s 7 clean sheets from the last 9 games and 20 points from the past 10 games. Enormous credit to parky, who was getting some right stick after Solihull. Well done to the players too, brilliant change in form

Overall a poor game. More to do with how they set up  5-4-1 that went to a back 6. They were tough to break down and weren't interesting in anything more than a 0-0. We deserved the win after a decent 2nd half. Gotta win ugly sometimes

For me, that was ultimately a more gratifying 1-0 victory than the defeat of high-flying Chesterfield last Tuesday evening, largely owing to Aldershot's tiresome negativity and time-wasting ruses throughout the game. They got exactly what they deserved.

If only Perritt had tucked away that golden opportunity in the second minute then the game may well have evolved into a far more entertaining spectacle.

Five consecutive clean sheets at the J Davidson Stadium is some going at this level!

I think that you'd have to be a rather naive manager if you didn't expect to come under some close scrutiny after your team had won merely one of its last 17 league fixtures and had just been on the receiving end of a 5-0 drubbing!

It was a very familiar game from our stays in the National Division over the last decade or so: 85 mins of dogged, well organised defence, some timewasting antics, hoping to nick a goal from a set piece - but ultimately undone by an unlucky deflection against a superior opposition who in all honesty deserved the win. It's great to be dishing it out instead of taking it this time around.

As above, 90% of this league is about winning the majority. Of your home games, then avoiding defeat on the road.

Draws into wins away get you in PO.

Not a vintage display but 75% will remember a last minute winner at Moss Lane and another win again. And that's all that matters.

Yes. I know our goal came late but that was a routine win as we’ll get at this level. Perrit scores that early chance from a corner and it would have been another Weymouth/Eastleigh. As it was another win & clean sheet & over 2000 home fans in-perfect. Good numbers from Aldershot but my god they were absolutely dreadful, the momentum seems to be with Kings Lynn now and I reckon the NLS beckons for the Shots. Good to get the Libero beers on too in the CSH, helps with the queues & the beer is top quality. Just a real shame the next game so far off now when we’ve hit a real purple patch.

Think Lynn have left it too late to reel Aldershot in unfortunately (as that's 6 points next season) but could be proved wrong. Shots fans seem to think they're going down either this year or next.

Be some nervous shots next Sunday if Kings Lynn beat Dover. Gap of 5 points with 7 to go.

Would be interesting if it goes to the final day as KL don't play as its their blank week.

Agree with others, far from our best performance, but we stuck to the task and in the end justice prevailed as we scored late on, deflected or not they all count and we were the only team trying to win the game. Referee was poor and spoiled the match as well. Good 3 points. Shame a lay off now until next game.

Aldershot play home to Eastleigh next. That's their best chance of a win. KL and Eastleigh wins would actually see the gap at 4 points.

Even closer! Adds a bit of interest in if the results go that way.
